For an Xcel Energy home energy audit or to get started with the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR^® program please call Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-4999.

Home Performance in 4 simple steps*:

• STEP 1: Sign up for the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR^® program by calling Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-4999. If you have not already had an audit and Xcel Energy agent can get you set up for a qualifying Blower Door Audit or Infrared Audit. With your consent, Xcel Energy will provide Lightly Treading, Inc. your 13 month energy bill history and the price of your chosen audit which will be charged to your account after the audit has been completed.
• STEP 2: Choose a participating contractor to have improvements made. A participating contractor list will be included in your audit report. You must make a total of five improvements on your home. Details on improvement requirements and eligibility can be obtained through Xcel Energy.
• STEP 3: A Lightly Treading auditor will inspect your improvements to verify they have been correctly implemented.
• STEP 4: The Lightly Treading auditor will collect your improvement receipts and submit REBATE paperwork to Xcel.
